Our experienced team, including father-daughter duo Scott and Sydney, is dedicated to creating custom solutions with a focus on caring for family, friends, our clients and community. We are dedicated to supporting our community and strive to ensure our team members receive a reasonable wage.
In alignment with these principles, we structure our fees to reflect the value of both the work and the people involved. Each project is broken down into the following categories:
Design: The design phase includes the initial consultation, design development, and any necessary revisions. The design fees (*excluding third party fees, e.g., when applicable, engineering fees) are split into two payments:
Log Milling; The mill work phase includes acquiring logs, from the forest, and cutting them to practical sizes. Fees to purchase logs and mill logs are paid in advance and this process usually takes 20-35 days, e.g., depending on weather, etc.
Fabrication (includes custom prep & **staining or painting): For the fabrication phase, fees include purchasing and fabrication of all custom metal materials from a third-party vendor; these are fees paid in advance. All remaining fees cover the craftsmanship and labor necessary to bring your custom pieces to life. All fees are due when the fabrication phase is complete.
Transport & Installation: The installation phase includes delivery and professional setup of your custom product. The installation fee is due the same day installation is complete, i.e., all work is finished.
As part of our dedication to supporting our community, appropriate fees are allocated toward ensuring fair compensation and a living wage for those involved in your project. This approach not only ensures quality work but also supports sustainable practices for our team.
Due to the fees charged by Visa, Mastercard, etc., i.e., third-party financial service companies, for customers paying via ACH, wire transfer, check or equivalent method, a 3% discount will be deducted from the total costs. For this reason, we recommend paying via check, ACH or wire transfer.
*When applicable, third party fees, e.g., engineering fees, must be prepaid. This will ensure all vendors are also paid in an efficient manner, e.g., within 2-7 calendar days; this also ensures we continue a strong, healthy relationship with the vendors we depend on to provide excellent service or high-quality products.
